Week 6, Day 7

So the bad news, as you can see, is that I gained back two of the three pounds I lost during my emo week. That's a little bit of a fail, but it's my fault. For one, I shouldn't have expected three pounds lost in a single week off of my non-overweight body to stay off if I didn't stick to program. Secondly, I didn't stick to program. Hah. I covered a Syfy press event this weekend and they fed us. They fed us well and they fed us often. So admittedly, I took advantage of that. And admittedly, I haven't been working out as much as I should. Tomorrow I'm back to the grind with running - I need to break those shoes in some more, and I have a 5K this weekend, so I want to be at least somewhat prepared.

I'm going to a BBQ this weekend, but it's at a close friend's house, so that shouldn't be hard. I will just bring veggie burgers and some vegetables to cook, and some kind of healthy side. If I screw up this weekend, it's honestly because I don't care. And I'm not willing to take that.
